Severin Furtek is a passionate emerging researcher in the field of perovskite photovoltaics, currently contributing to advancements in next-generation solar energy technologies as a Visiting Student Researcher. He holds an MSci degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London, completed between 2020 and 2024. During his academic journey, Severin gained hands-on research experience through a Research Internship at Imperial College London in 2023, where he worked on tin-based perovskite solar cells, laying a strong foundation for his ongoing research. Currently, his focus lies in enhancing the stability and efficiency of PTAA-based tin-lead perovskite solar cells, tackling key challenges in ionic and electronic transport. His work aims to support the development of high-performance, low-toxicity solar technologies with real-world applicability.
