Dr. Luis Lanzetta

Post-doctoral Fellow

Dr Luis Lanzetta is a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, KSA). He obtained his PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College London (UK) in 2020, where he focused on developing eco-friendly, tin-based perovskites for photovoltaic and light-emitting applications. His current research focuses on next-generation materials for energy harvesting and optoelectronic applications. Specifically, his expertise lies in the chemical degradation and stabilisation mechanisms of halide perovskite solar cells, aiming to provide design rules towards more efficient and stable technologies. His research interests further include molecular doping approaches for halide perovskites, as well as the spectroscopic and surface characterisation of energy harvesting materials.
