Diego Rosasvillalva is a dedicated Ph.D. student in Omegalab. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering from the University of the Americas Puebla, Mexico, in 2016.

Diego's academic journey has been marked by his passion for research and innovation. In 2015, he gained valuable experience as a NURF Intern at the University of Notre Dame, showcasing his early commitment to cutting-edge scientific exploration. In 2017, Diego continued to expand his research capabilities as a VSRP Intern at KAUST.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. program, Diego's research focuses on understanding how processing conditions affect the optoelectronic properties of conjugated polymers, relying heavily on electrical characterization, Atomic Force Microscopy, and Grazing Incidence Wide Angle X-Ray Scattering. His work is centered on making solution-processable electronics more environmentally friendly, with a particular emphasis on applications in energy harvesting from thermoelectrics.

Diego Rosasvillalva's academic journey reflects not only his commitment to advancing scientific knowledge but also his dedication to contributing to sustainable and impactful technologies that have the potential to shape the future.
